February 14, 2024 - Comal ISD is hosting four high school student immunization clinics on Thursday, March 7, and Friday, March 8. Students interested in participating in these clinics may register here. Walk-ins will be accepted.
Clinic times and locations on Thursday, March 7
- 9-11 a.m. at Pieper High School, 1400 Kinder Parkway, San Antonio
- Noon-2 p.m. at Smithson Valley High School, 14001 Hwy. 46, Spring Branch
- 3-4:30 p.m. at Canyon Lake High School, 8555 FM 32, Fischer
Clinic times and locations on Friday, March 8
- 8:30-10:30 a.m. at Canyon High School, 1510 IH 35, New Braunfels
The student immunization clinics are open to high school students. All insurance policies will be verified. The out-of-pocket cost will be $10 per shot. When completing the registration information, write “NA” for all insurance questions if the family does not have health insurance.

Information of Seniors
- MCV4 (meningitis) – required for colleges. All entering students at an institution of higher education are required to show proof of an initial meningococcal vaccination or a booster dose during the five-year period prior to enrolling. They must get the vaccine at least 10 days before the semester begins.
- Men B, a 2 shot series for a fifth strain of meningitis that is usually optional, but students should check requirements for specific college guidelines.
